• Roagna has risen to the very top of the quality pyramid in Piedmont.

Timorasso is a local white grape variety most commonly planted in the Derthona area of Piedmont. This comes from a 1 hectare vineyard in the town of Montemarzino. The vines are planted mainly in limestone and clay soils. Fermented with ambient yeast and aged for 2 years in large, used French oak casks.VARIETALS

Sourced from a one hectare vineyard in the town of Montemarzino in the Colli Tortonesi area.

SOIL

Mainly limestone-clay and rocks with a high level of active limestone.

VITICULTURE

Practicing organic. Hand-harvested. Most of the vines are around 35 years old with some much older and a few younger where they had to replace diseased or dying vines.

VINIFICATION

Fermented with a pied de cuvee of natural yeasts in large french oak casks.

AGING

Aged for two years in one large french oak cask.
