Lucciola is 100% Sangiovese, an indigenous grape from the Romagna region, with an historical presence in the small village of Brisighella (Province of Ravenna). It smells of fresh flowers, and wild cherries and it’s an awesome weekday wine in the noblest sense of the word! Lucciola Sangiovsese is vinified and bottled at Filippo Manetti’s celler (Vigne di San Lorenzo). the wine has an excellent mouthfeel and perfectly pairs with all the light antipasti of the Italian tradition, like cold cuts and young cheeses (have you ever heard of the old school classic Piadina Romagnola?). It is an awesome match with pasta courses with light sauces, any chicken salad or grilled vegetables. Alcohol 12,5% vol. Total SO2 is 30 mg/l (half are coming from the natural fermentation). Clear glass and cork closure. Serving temperature: 16 Celsius (61 F)
