100% Espadeiro from Felgueiras, Vinho Verde, Portugal; light to medium bodied and dry, smokey and bright with notes of tart plum, cherry, baking spice, and pepper, with spicy undertones, juicy acidity, and soft dry tannins on the finish. Practicing Organic and Biodynamic;

Fermentation takes place in old amphora and is stabilized with chestnut flowers. It spends 4 days maceration before fermentation begins naturally and continues for one month. The wine rests in the amfora for 3 more months before being moved to stainless steel where it rests for another 2.5 months, and is then bottled with small amounts of sulphur added.
