A little bit of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon is blended with Sangiovese, producing a full-bodied Chianti. Grapes are grown on limestone soils in the estate vineyards of Montesperoli, then aged for 24 months in oak. Ripe red and black fruits, a complex spice and that cherry “pop” of Sangiovese come through, while integrated tannins give this wine structure.
