Crazy label, crazy-good wine: Benau takes an experimental approach to Picpoul in this bottling. The same grapes from oyster bed soils, used in her standard" Picpoul, go into this wine. However, here they see skin contact, creating an orange wine with subtle tannins, spiciness, and that signature saline zing.
