Lewandowski Elimelech Cuvee Zero Riesling 2022 Regular

This is 100% Riesling from the storied Cole Ranch way up in the hills between Ukiah and Boonville. Not quite the expected version of Riesling, Elimelech exists to show you another way. Riesling can be flashy, fleshy and flamboyant...intoxicatingly scented, richly textured and yes, DRY. Only the craziest of sites can pull this off in balance and Cole Ranch is one of those kooky California examples. There is less botrytis than we often see here in this 2022 bottling. While we do ADORE Cole Ranch for its propensity to provide some crazy savory qualities from it’s normal level of botrytis, we’re pretty jazzed that the overt vermouth-y-ness is even more on display now.
